Respect In Sport - Parent

To ensure that we create excellent hockey experiences for our players, parents of players registered to play Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) jurisdiction will be required to complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program.
This course is available online and one parent or guardian MUST complete the course regardless of the level that the player will participate in.  The course must be completed PRIOR to your player being registered. This is a Registration system rule that can not be overridden.
* * Please note that the RMMHA must comply with all HEO regulations. Any player whose parent or guardian has not completed the course will not be approved on the team roster by HEO and therefore will not be able to participate in team activities.
The course can be found at: Respect In Sport – Parent Program

Respect In Sport - Activity Leader

Respect in Sport - Activity Leader is a requirement for all bench staff, managers, and any volunteers who are directly engaged with the players regardless of if it is on ice or in the dressing room. Respect In Sport – Parent is NOT a valid substitute for the Activity Leader program; They are separate courses and even if a coach or manager has taken the RIS - Parent program, they are still required to complete the Respect in Sport – Activity Leader program.

This course can be found at: Respect In Sport - Activity Leader Program

NOTE: The association has determined that it will NOT be able to offer reimbursement for the training.
