Competitive Tryouts
As a Richmond Royals player, you may have the opportunity to take your game to the next level through one of our affiliated competitive programs. RMMHA catchment players are eligible to tryout for the following organizations:

Upper Canada Cyclones - AAA
The Upper Canada Cyclones represent the highest level of minor hockey available to our players. For age eilgibiltiy, tryout dates, schedules, and registration details, please visit the Upper Canada Cyclones website directly.

Silver Seven - A / AA

Romans - Rep B
The Romans provide a strong competitive rep-level experience for eligible Richmond Royals catchment players. For age eligilbity, tryout dates, schedules, and registration details, please visit the Romans website directly.

How Tryouts Work
Competitive tryouts follow a structured sequence each season. AAA tryouts are held first, followed by AA, and then Rep B — with house league team placements taking place after the competitive process is complete. Note that some programs begin their tryout process in the spring, so we encourage families to check affiliate websites early and often so you don't miss important dates. 

Fees
All players participating in competitive tryouts are required to pay an RMMHA administrative fee, regardless of which program they are trying out for. In addition, each affiliate organization charges their own tryout fees, please refer to their respective websites for details.
